Manager, Technical Writing – American Power Conversion Corp. — February 2005 to Present
Currently managing a team of eleven technical writers/illustrators located in three countries. This group of writers is responsible for the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for all global products for the DS3 division and currently the Management Systems and Software line of business.

Responsible for content management, supporting databases, writing and illustrations standards and procedures, training, and project management.

Sr. Technical Writer/Illustrator – American Power Conversion Corp. — June 2001 to February 2005
Lead a team of technical writers who were responsible for creation and maintenance of the technical documentation for all Cooling Solutions products. Responsible for the creation and management of all illustration production and drawing standards. Responsible for training User Education writers on software, systems, and department and company standards. Have taken the lead to improve department procedures including the creation of tools and systems to speed creation time and increase quality. Create conceptual renderings for use in field service training, and sales and marketing publications.

Technical Illustrator/Writer-Crane National Vendors – May 1999 to June 2001

Produced technical Illustrations used in all technical/service manuals. Produced and maintained graphic art used in labels, decals, and point-of-purchase displays. Produced and maintained the department Intranet site and company Internet e- commerce site. Researched and wrote for installation, operations, service, parts, and procedural manuals. Created and maintain Access databases for all artwork. Responsible for all digital photography used in web pages, advertising brochures, technical manuals, and UL requirements.
