Selling your art online

I am sure that most of you have already heard of microstock, but what is it really. Microstock is the selling low-priced stock images in high volume. The “low price” is where the micro in microstock comes from. Depending on the size of the image downloaded by the customer this price can be anywhere from 35 cents to 5 dollars or more per download. That might not seem like a lot at first but imagine have hundreds of images available for sale on multiple sites. Each day hundreds of images are bought and downloaded, and that money goes in your pocket.

There are a number of sites out there currently, and there are always new starting-ups. I choose to focus on the sites that are we’ll established, reputable, and ones that can give me the returns I am looking for.
